Welcome to Our World

It all started with a VW beetle given to me by my parents when I was 14 to restore, then onto an apprenticeship with Hills Ford starting at the end of 1992. After completing the appreticeship I moved into the Used Car warranty world with Harrier - National and on to Scotts Honda as a Workshop Controller. After a year or so of that I bounced around through various workshops on the Northern side of Sydney and on to doing NRMA road side assistance for a few years then onto a stint at Booths Ford on the Central Coast.  After starting my Car path at Ford I was back after 30 years, this inspired me to finally go at it alone using the last 30 years of experience I started VR Mechanical in 2023.  I started out as a mobile Mechanic and in a short space of time moved into a permanent workshop arragement at the end of 2024 and in 2025 my son joined me as an apprentice where we are continuing to grow daily. 

Cars our our passion and at VR Mechanical you are dealing with a family run and owned business with 35 plus years of experience behind us.

We like specialise in Japanese brands, Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Subaru and Isuzu but do service and repair all makes and models. 

Our interests are in Toyota 4x4 like Landcruiser and Hilux and Australian Built Fords like Falcon, Fairmont, Fairlane, Territory, Laser and Capri.

We love working on classic cars, nothing is to rare for us to have a look at.
